ENTITY PROFILE COMPANIES
INGETEAM designs and supplies complete solutions of traction, control and auxiliary
systems for rolling stock, based on in-house developments of power and control electronics.
Cooperation with our customers begins at project defi nition, and goes through study,
design and engineering phases up to turn-key supply of the complete solution either
for new rolling stock or fl eet modernization. Its scope of supply includes also the design
and supply of kinetic energy recovery systems, which fi ts into the current operator’s
infrastructure (substation), optimizing the energy recovered and making it available to the
distribution network. A group with international precense.

R&D: PROJECTS AND PRODUCTS
Project Product National International
Design and supply of high speed dual voltage locomotive (3kV DC/25kV AC).

Design&supply of kinetic energy recovery system,which fi ts into the current operator’s
infraestructure,optimizing the energy recovered&making it available to net.
Energetic effi ciency.Development of regulated DC substation. Development
of mathematical algorithm for effi cient driving system (driving assistance).
Traction systems. Development of DC chopper for the modernization of rolling stock
material (reliability incr. & LCC decr). Design of compact inverter for electric vehicle.
Traction power converter. Development of the traction converter with heatpipes
cooling system. Design of auxiliary systems with medium frequency transformer.
System design for the remote monitoring for the train fl eets.

Traction power converters air / water coolled for 750Vdc, 1500Vdc, 3000Vdc,
25k Vac, diesel - electric systems.
Auxiliary systems: auxiliary converters and battery chargers.

Vehicle control systems (TCMS). Interfaces Human - Machine (IHM).
Diagnostic systems with train - ground communication.
