SUPRASYS is a technology-based company, devoted to the development of compact power
electric technology. It is an exclusively private initiative of the promotors, which are convinced
about the potential of this technology. SUPRASYS is developing DC superconducting links for
traction substations, generating saving of electricity and increasing the system reliability. This
links offers the unbeatable advantage, thanks to the superconducting technology, to transport
a huge amount of current in a very reduced space.
