ENTITY PROFILE COMPANIES
Geocontrol, S.A. is a SME civil engineering company which was established in 1982. The
company started off specializing in applied rock mechanics and since 1987 has worked
on project designing and constructing all kinds of tunnels. The experience and expertise
acquired throughout these years have allowed Geocontrol, S.A. to participate in projects
and technical support for more than 337 tunnels with a longitude of more than 1000 kms.
Geocontrol S.A. has its headquarters in Madrid but also operates internationally with
presence in Europe and Latin America and offi ces in Santiago de Chile since 1997 and
Brasil since 2011. The R&D department has developed more than 20 projects since 1987
including, amongst others, those belonging to the different European frameworks.

EMTECH. Study and optimization of evacuation routes in underground
spaces by use of computer simulation of human behaviour.
Auscultation proposal of experimental landfi lls in the technological ring of
Málaga.
Studies of ventilation in railway networks and subway networks under
operating mode and emergency mode.
Optimization studies in architectural design in railway stations and subway
stations using computer simulations of human behaviour.
