Imatia is a SME created as a spin-off from the University of Vigo in 2005. Our development
centers are in Vigo and A Coruña (Spain) but we have a clear international focus aimed
mostly at EU, USA and LATAM.
Imatia is a software tool vendor with a focus on creating technologies that increase the
productivity of the software development process.
Imatia’s innovation capability has won several prestigious awards such as Premio
Emprendedor XXI 2010 (ENISA/La Caixa) and Red Herring Europe 2012.

Automated (CV-based) pantograph inspection: operating at conventional speed and
regardless of light/climate conditions + management software (alarms, reports...)
Automated (CV-based) inspection of multiple vehicle undercarriage elements. Operates
at approach-to-garage speed. Panoramic compositions, thermal analysis, reports, etc.
Inventory management for rail/electric infraestructures/networks. Field service
inventoring (online/offl ine), simulation, maintenance, monitoring, etc.
Automated planning of vehicle service load, taking into account planned and
unplanned services, maintenance needs, etc.
Management software for complex vehicle part catalogs: navigation, queries,
customisation, integration with backoffi ce software, import/export functions, etc.
Case management software for large public work contracts: planning,
procurement, project management, changes (budget and timeline lifecycles).
