R&D: PROJECTS AND PRODUCTS

Project Product National International
DAVINCI. Integrated solution for train traffic control and management,
covering the whole life cycle of railways operations.
TSAD. Solution for infrastructure safety detectors control and management,
integrated with control centre systems in DaVinci platform.
ASFA-D. On-board ASFA Digital system for Automatic Train Protection. An
ATO solution with real-time speed control, certified as SIL4 system.
SAVIA. Solution for track-side ASFA Digital signaling system, compatible with
existing signaling and ATP solutions. Safety Integrity Level SIL4.
FERROSMARTGRID. Design and development of first smart-grid for railways,
with traffic management systems integrated as intelligent grid agents.
ETCS for AVRIL Train. Design and development of OBU ETCS for AVRIL
train, according to SRS 2.3.0.d specifications, based on COTS integration.
iRBC. Design and development of RBC system for ERTMS n2 signaling
standard, according to SRS 2.3.0.d specifications.
iSafePlatform. Design, development and demonstrator of COTS based
hardware platform for deployment of safety solutions for railways.
