SULABU. Development of multipurpose precast slab-track: Suitable system
for both international and Spanish width and continuous levelling. Ongoing.
Improved tamping operations, leveling and alignment of the rails: Procedures
for tamping topography, track alignment and leveling.
Rail tracks assembling without auxiliary track: Continous Welded Rail (CWR)
unload without auxiliary track.
Improving tunnels’ safety when affected by underground aquifers: By-pass in
the aquifer for water control and tunnel safety.
Monitoring buildings affected by tunnel works. Measurement and precision
control of deformations in tunnels.
Collectors for high speed lines: Pantograph-catenary interaction and
geometric calculating for brackets and hangers
Security systems for rail maintenance works: Circulations two-way radio
system point to multipoint warning. Ongoing.
Improvements in ventilation and fi re protection in underground stations: System
that prevents the interaction of air between the tunnels and the other station.
Tunneling in areas of varying geology and improvements in the operation of
TBM Several new developments in tunneling solutions. Ongoing.
