ENTITY PROFILE
Adif, the Administrator of Railway Infrastructures, is a state-owned company that reports
to the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda. Adif is in charge of:
• Administrating rail infrastructures (tracks, stations, freight terminals, etc.).
• The rail traffic management.
• Distributing capacity to rail operators.
• The collection of fees for infrastructure, station and freight terminal use.
Currently, Adif manages 15.390 kilometers of railways tracks (see Network Statement 2020).
