ENTITY PROFILE
IK4-IKERLAN is a technology research centre which specializes in the integrated
development of mechatronic products. It collaborates with industry with the aim of improving its
competitiveness by applying technological knowledge to the development of innovative
products. IK4-IKERLAN also develops tools and methodologies for improving innovation,

design and production processes. The centre is a private, non-profit making entity with a public
service vocation, associated with MONDRAGON Corporation and IK4 Research Alliance. It is
divided into three operative units: Product Development; Design and Production Processes;
