ENTITY PROFILE
Renfe is the leading transport service passenger and freight rail operator in Spain, depending
on the Ministry of Public Works. Renfe’s mission is to provide passenger and freight services,
under the principle of security, by developing its activities with a clear customer focus, quality
criteria, efficiency, profitability and innovation, seeking to increase rail market share, on the
basis of commitment to society and the development of its employees. The operator has
developed a relevant internationalization activity, (to include the projects, already underway, of
Haramain in Arabia and High Speed in Dallas - Houston).

Universal Accessibility Plan. Adapting material to provide access to people with

Revenue Management, optimizing product availability and prices (tickets). Ongoing.

Development of new technologies, contactless card “Renfe & you” in the suburban area
that allows travelers to more easily access platforms. Ongoing.

Plan to combat climate change. Global decarbonization and sustainable development
plan (rolling stock, stations, workshops, etc.). Ongoing.
