ENTITY PROFILE
The CIDAUT Foundation is a private non-profit institution committed to strengthening the
transport and energy sectors. This Research and Development Center has laid up extensive
experience in the management of projects related to the different transport systems
highlighting railway.

The CIDAUT Foundation has got a methodology that allows complete product development
from conception of a new idea, through selection and analysis of materials, simulation
activities, material processing, prototyping and pre-tasks industrialization to final product

R&D: PROJECTS AND PRODUCTS

Project Tram H2. Integration of a traction system based on a fuel cell in a tram vehicle.

AURIGIDAS: Investigation of the phenomenon of ballast lift at speeds above 300 km/h.

Design and Development of Advanced Energy Absorption Module.

Design and development of fault diagnosis systems and test benches (brakes,
engine,...).

Vibration tests of railway equipment (EN 61373: 2010).

Static and fatigue calculations (EN 12663: 2000) of railway equipment (including
welding).

Type noise tests (ISO 3095: 2005; ISO 3381: 2005.) Speech Transmission Index tests.
(IEC 60268-16).

Noise and vibration trouble shooting in complete vehicle.

Analysis of thermal comfort inside the train.
