DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

ITAINNOVA is the Technological Institute of Aragon, a public Technology
Centre whose mission is to help companies, technology leaders, institutions
and anyone who shapes our society towards achieving a new future
through innovation and technological development.

ITAINNOVA offers its services with a clear market orientation, providing real
and innovative solutions from our lines of research and development, which
transform and accelerate the technological processes of companies or new
challenges in our society.

Four of our areas of expertise are crosslinked to provide direct innovation for technological innovation solutions focused
on the needs of our customers. Industrial Systems, ICT for Logistics, Software Engineering and Multimedia
Technologies work on a set of 10 lines of innovation.

The Mechanical Laboratory is for experimental activities focused on the physical characterisation of different types of
materials and components, within both the framework of national and international regulations (e.g. UNE, EN, ISO and
ASTM) and according to customer specifications.

The Chemical Laboratory performs chemical, physical and microstructural characterisation tests of materials. These
materials are from different sectors (e.g. automotive, construction and transportation) and have various applications
(e.g. structural components, coatings and adhesives).

The Climatic Laboratory performs climatic testing to assess the type and degree of deterioration that a material,
component or product may suffer under extreme thermal or climate conditions.
