DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

National laboratory which offers:

- An efficient software development environment in the railway field, using
methodology and tools to support the management of the entire life cycle,
based on standard quality model CMMI N2.

- Two integration environments that enable the development and evolution
of the current traffic management platform DaVinci and enables functional
testing without affecting the operation.

HARDWARE:

* Two integration and testing environments
- 2 x 48 cores RISC server (P770), 192GB of RAM.
- 2 x 32 cores RISC server (x3850), 64GB of RAM.

* Development environment
- Server RISC cores 48 (P770), RAM 192GB.
- Server 64 cores of CISC technology (x3850), 128GB of RAM.

* General system of Oracle databases, which contain all instances of the environment.

* Backup system to back up all virtualized environments.

* Network equipment that relates communications environments and deploy them with the closest possible conditions to
a real production environment.

SOFTWARE:

* IBM Rational Platform: life cycle management of software development.

* DaVinci platform: Integrated tools for operation and exploitation of railway traffic.
