ADMINISTRADOR DE INFR. FERROVIARIAS (ADIF)

DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

Laboratory located in the Railway Technology Centre with facilities
designed to test the development and validation of the various processes
and universal access solutions in both physical and complementary
facilities, improved passenger information and lighting.
Also, the RTC has hosted technology companies in the fields of engineering
and ICT able to address any aspect of adaptation of rail elements and
accessibility specialist companies.

EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES
* Rail vehicle Accessibility accessibility simulator rail vehicles (SIMAV).
* Platform height and tilt adjustable.
* Carport shelter weak station type traffic.
* Conventional stretch of road.
* Supports and anchors for Traveler Information Systems (visual and acoustic).
* Connection with ICT laboratory.

TEST TYPES
* Universal Accessibility Tests.
* Trials of new installations of street lighting in platforms, systems and audio visual information, systems and signage
apprehension and location.
* Tests to minimize the problem between the parked vehicle and the platform (GAP).
* Training.
