DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

Facilities and field testing activities for the evaluation of design towards
external and internal requirements on EMI/EMC (electromagnetic
interference/ compatibility) measurements.

Homologation tests accredited according to international standards as well
as specific tests for R&D purposes, design modification and optimization as
well as root cause failure analyses.

TEST FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, TYPES OF TESTING AND/OR TRI"LS

Field tests for the verification of standalone components as well as full vehicle for R&D purposes and for homologation
purposes according to main international standards (EN, IEC, UMTA, etc):

FIELD TESTING:
* Measurement and monitoring of electromagnetic emissions (conducted, inducted and radiated). Both frequency
spectrum and time domain analysis.
* Signaling equipment compatibility testing.

LABORATORY TESTING:
* Magnetic flux density measurement for human exposure.
* Immunity systems for electrostatic discharge, electrical fast transients, surges and conducted interferences caused
by RF.
* Conducted (LISN) and radiated EMI tests.

CONSULTING:
* EMC control plan and FMECA consulting.

Instrumentation: EMC/EMI antennae, voltage and current probes. Spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
