AERODYNAMIC TESTS
* Field tests for the verification of designs and the validation of numerical models for full vehicle for R&D purposes and
for homologation purposes according to international standard: EN 14067. Main capacities include test and evaluation
of:
- Resistance to motion.
- Slipstream effect.
- Head pressure wave.
- Entry into tunnel and tunnel passage.
- Characterization of the under frame aerodynamics.
* Instrumentation: static pressure probes, Pitot tubes, Ultra Sonic Anemometers.
CLIMATIC TESTS
CETEST provides expertise in the field of HVAC and ventilation for the homologation process as well as to resolved
issues related to HVAC system. Testing capabilities include:
- Vehicle heat transfer test (K coefficient / UA Factor).
- Vehicle pressurization and leak detection.
- Air balance testing.
- Functional tests of different components subjected to extreme climatic conditions.
- Performance evaluation of full HVAC systems.
- Thermal comfort.
- Measurement and consultancy for thermal problems in components (brake discs, compressors, transmission
systems, heating systems).
- Full scale mock-ups for climatic simulations.
Instrumentation: Temperature sensors, humidity sensors, voltage sensors, current probes.
