ENTITY PROFILE
CEIT-IK4 is a non profi t research centre with around 250 employees (120 of them are
PhD) and 93 PhD students. Its annual budget is over 15 M. CEIT-IK4 is part of the IK4
Research Alliance. This is a private and independent technological alliance with around
1400 employees and 100M annual turnover.
CEIT-IK4 is actively researching in the railway industry sector, where CEIT-IK4 currently
is developing 10 bilateral projects for major railway, rolling stock and component
manufacturers and is currently coordinating 4 EU funded FP7 projects related with the
