         ENTITY PROFILE
         Established: 1967. Currently 5 branch offi ces: Santiago, A Coruña, Ourense, Madrid.
         lnternational activities in 17 countries.
         Workforce (2011 ): 211 employees. 112 associated companies and over 800 customer
         companies.
         More than 90.000 technical reports submitted and more than 100 R+D+i projects per
         year.
         Tecnology and lnnovation Center under registry number 38, andas Research and Results
         Transfer Offi ce (RRTO) under registry number N° 166.
         Promotion and execution of R+D+i activities and development of high added value.

         R&D: PROJECTS AND PRODUCTS
          Project  Product  National International
                       COPATCH. Composite patch repair for marine and civil engineering
                       infrastructure applications.
                       FORMAO. New shaping processes and development of advance materials
                       for high strength steels transformation.
                       TWB. Application of high energy density are processes for welding taylored
                       blanks.
                       INXECCION. Using of FSW in the aluminium extrusion sector for getting
                       wider pannels from single profi les.
                       CONSORCIA-TRIP. Development and production of TRIP steels: shaping
                       and welding.
                       PARQUES. Research on bonding of dissimilar joints (metal/plastic) for
                       automotive parts.
                       TAC. Development and setting of a Computed Axial Tomography sean (CAT
                       sean) for NDT on metallic parts.
                       FAISTER. Research about the application of FSW on structural parts made of
                       aluminium allovs.
                       SOLAPA. Development of advanced laser welding processes to manufacture
                       automotive structural parts using new materials.
