DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

Laboratory specialised in Acoustics and Vibrations with national and
international activities. Measurements of noise and vibrations are performed
along existing or new infrastructures in preoperational, construction and/or
operational phase. These measurements are used to check the fulfillment
of legal or contract requirements and to calibrate the models which simulate
the future noise and vibration levels. As complementary services, the
company also carries out these predictions of future levels, designs and
proposes protection measures especially adapted to the railway sector.
Finally, the laboratory also assesses noise and vibration inside and outside
railway vehicles.
