              ENTITY PROFILE
              Over the last 10 years, GIDAI Group - Fire Safety – Research and Technology, has developed
              a R&D line with more than 40 research projects and contracts with public and private entities, a
              fundraising close to 7 M € and over 120 scientific papers (in scientific journals and peer-
              reviewed international conferences) devoted to fire safety and evacuation management, by

              means of a strong activity in research, technology transfer and training. GIDAI’s capabilities
              are reinforced by unique infrastructures dedicated to fire dynamics and human response in
              evacuation procedures.

                             SEGTRANS.  Research,  development  and  demonstration  of  innovative  systems  for
                             improving integral security in transport terminals.

                             EVACTRAIN. Evacuation computational model for high-speed passenger trains.


                             Real scale fire tests in high-speed passenger trains.


                             Analysis and experimental validation of a system approach for fire safety in high-speed
                             passenger trains.

                             Development of a fire safety system for the equipment located under the frame of metro
                             rolling stock.

                             Decision Support System (DSS) for emergency management in high-speed passenger
                             trains.
