RAILWAY SYSTEMS
ENTITY PROFILE
IIT is a research center of ICAI School of Engineering, which belongs to the University
Pontificia Comillas, Madrid, Spain. Its main objective is to promote research and post-
graduate studies in different technological fields, by means of developing research projects of
interest for the Industry and Administration.
The Rail Systems research unit of the IIT- composed of teachers and researchers from the IIT -
is an interdisciplinary research group specifically focused on the railway sector. The Rail
Systems group applies different techniques in research projects in collaboration with the
