         DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION
        Laboratory of international reference, focused on the support to the
        development and conformity assessment of electrical products for T&D
        networks and Smart Grids, as well as industrial applications.
        We support our clients, mostly manufacturers of electrical equipment and
        electrical utilities, with our technical human expertise and singular testing
        facilities to assess the compliance with the product standards and technical
        specifications; key for the design of the product and its access to the
        market.
        We serve as a third-party laboratory, accredited by ILAC ENAC and
        recognized by the main electrical utilities in the world.

        TEST FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, TYPES OF TESTING AND/OR 53*"-4
        Laboratory Tests:
        * POWER Laboratory for Short-circuit, short time and peak withstand currents, making and braking, internal arc tests,
        etc: 300 MVA, 1 second; 150 kA up to 1000 V; decreasing currents for voltages from 2,8 to 38 kV.
        * HIGH VOLTAGE Laboratory for dielectric tests: withstand and applied voltage, dielectric strength, partial discharges,
        etc: 550 kV at power frequency; 1.800 kV for lightning impulse.
        * LOW VOLTAGE Laboratory for temperature-rise tests, degree of protection, etc: up to 12.000 A for temperature-rise
        tests; large climatic chamber: 5,5 x 4 x 4 m.
        * POWER ELECTRONICS Laboratory for the conformity assessment of inverters and converters: islanding, voltage
        sags, safety tests, etc.
        * EMC Laboratory for radiated and conducted emission and immunity.
        * RELIABILITY tests by means of HALT technology (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) with the aim of detecting failure
        modes on electric/electronic components.
        * ENVIRONMENTAL testing on electric components such as vibration, shock, temperature, humidity, etc.
        * SMART METERS Laboratory for the certification of the Smart Meters and Data Concentrators: PRIME and DLMS
        Protocols, MID Directive, CENELEC tests.

        Products tested: Distribution Transformers, Instrument Transformers, LV Switchboards, MV Switchgear, MV & HV
        Cables, Fuse holders and fuse links, PV Inverters, Smart Meters & Concentrators, Relays, etc.

        On-Site Tests:
        *Mobile laboratories including a Resonant Test Unit for HV cables and testing equipment for the diagnosis of large
        rotating machines at power and industrial plants and predictive maintenance of power transformers at substations.
