DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

Internationally renowned laboratory for the assessment of active and fire
passive protection, including reaction to fire and fire resistance of materials,
products for use in different sectors such as construction, naval and railway
between others.

Our scope of accreditation includes tests to international harmonised
technical specifications and also "ad-hoc" tests designed for products or
systems that cannot be covered by those standards.

TEST FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, TYPES OF TESTING AND/OR 53*"-4

Reaction to fire:

* Testing methods according to EN 45545-2:2013, ISO 5660-1, ISO 5659-2 (Annex C EN 45545-2), ISO 5658.
* Testing methods to comply with US requirements: AMTRAK and NFPA 130.
* Tests under other regulatory framework for railway use: NFF 16101; DIN 5510; BSS 6853; UNI CEI 11170, etc...
* Assessment of reaction to fire requirements, other than those mentioned.

Fire resistance testing capacities:

* Testing methods according to raIlway fire requirements in Europe EN 45545-3:2013.
* Testing capacities to perform tests according to several European, Russian and US standards: ASTM E 119, EN
1634 , GOST 30247.1 , GOST R 53307.
* Design of “ad-hoc” test methods for products not covered by the above mentioned standards.

Large scale testing capacities:

* Facilities where several fire scenarios are simulated varying the conditions of fire, smoke, visibility, temperature etc ...
