STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS SECTION
FACULTY OF ENGINEERING
UNIVERSIDAD DE SEVILLA
DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION
Since 2003, the Structural Analysis Section of University of Seville has
researched about vibrations induced by railway traffic. The Section has
carried out several experimental campaigns. The measurements have been
published in papers in journals with peer review.
The experimental analyses include: vibration study, acoustic study, modal
and operational modal analysis, structural health monitoring, estimation of
the dynamic properties of the soil, energy harvesting, etc.
