DESCRIPTION AND GOALS OF THE ORGANISATION

CEMOSA is a company specialized in engineering and quality control
services in the field of construction, founded on precepts of knowledge,
innovation and technology, with the guiding principles of quality and
corporate responsibility in all its activities. The beginning of the company,
more than 40 years ago, was as a laboratory for materials testing, which is
registered in the General Register of Laboratories for Quality Control in
Building and Civil Infrastructures (LEcce) according to national directive
RD410/2010, and it is accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Industry as
Notified Body for the CE Marking of building materials under the EC
Directive 89/106/EEC.

* Test bench for precast elements up to 5x3m.
* Test box 1x1x1m monitored with accelerometers and humidity sensors for aggregates.
* Dynamic load plate of 120kN with a 30cm diameter plate.
* Climatic chamber for 7.000 specimens.
* Hydraulic press for compression testing up to 500kN.
* Hydraulic press for compression testing up to 50kN with controlled velocity.
* Shear testing equipment.
* Edometric testing equipment.
* Chamber for UV radiation for accelerated ageing.
* Compactor with plane steel roller for asphalt concrete.
* Wheel-tracking test for ballast and other highly permeable aggregates.
* Constant head permeameter.
* Borehole machines on trucks and self-propelled for geotechnical investigations.
* Dynamic Penetrometer DPSH.
* Geophysic survey equipment through refraction seismic waves.
* Geotechnical monitoring (inclinometer, vibrating wire piezometer, profile gauge...).
* High-performance auscultation vehicle for testing void fraction and permeability of porous surfaces.
* Sensors for load testing in civil structures.
* Welding control by ultrasonic waves, penetrating liquids, Gamma ray and magnetic particles.
